While the Kabukicho area has fewer soaplands than Yoshiwara or Ikebukuro, Barubola is one of the most visible options in the neighborhood.
The problem is that this soapland has too many local visitors. As a result, foreigners, while accepted, aren’t treated too well and we often get the “leftovers” which are mostly chubby girls who half ass their job.

- Often chubby or older, despite younger photos

It’s a solid pick if you’ve already explored Yoshiwara or Ikebukuro, or if you’re on a tight layover and want to squeeze in some fun.
The standout feature here is the line-up system. Unlike most Tokyo soaplands that only show photos (often edited), GFE lets you see the available girls in person and choose, or even opt for two girls at once.
That kind of control is rare, and it makes GFE a good beginner-friendly choice.
It won’t match the polish of high-end places like Etoile, but the price-to-experience ratio is solid, especially for a lineup-based experience.
