Pattaya Red Light Districts Guide
Pattaya is home to some of the most famous red-light districts in Thailand. But if you think there are only a few spots, think again.
There are six red light areas in Pattaya city center alone! Almost everywhere you go, you’ll come across girls eager to get your attention.
But the red-light areas stand out for their sheer number of beer bars, go-go clubs, and nightclubs. The concentration of prostitutes is incredible, about five ladies to one man.
In these areas, the girls compete against each other on who gets fucked the most in a day.
New travelers often ask if Pattaya’s red-light districts are dangerous. The truth is, while they can feel chaotic and overwhelming at first, they’re generally safe.
Once you get familiar with the area and how things work, you can have a great time.
In this guide, I’ll walk you through Pattaya’s main red-light districts, what makes each one special, the types of girls you’ll meet, and average prices.
I’ll also suggest the best red light area hotels so you’ll always be close to the action.
Walking Street
Walking Street is the most known red light district area in Pattaya thanks to the numerous GoGo in the heart of Pattaya’s nightlife, often called an adult Disney World. It’s closed to traffic from 7:00 PM to 3:00 AM, and the energy here is incredible.
The area is filled with go-go bars, nightclubs, live music spots, and freelance girls hoping to catch your eye.
First-time visitors are easy to spot. They’re the ones looking around in shock at all the neon lights, loud music, and women waving them over from every direction.
It’s one of the more expensive red light areas in Pattaya, so don’t expect cheap drinks or bargains. The girls here are usually younger and more glamorous, and they’ll expect you to spend generously.
Average Prices
Walking Street is not the cheapest place for nightlife. Here’s what you’ll likely spend:
- Drinks: 150–250 Baht
- Bar Fines: 1,000–2,500 Baht
- Nightclub Entry Fees: 200-400 Baht
- Short Time 1,000-1,500 Baht
- Long-Time: 2,500 to 5,000 Baht

- The Green View (2-star): Located just a short walk from Walking Street for around 1,200 Baht per night.
- Walking Street Guest House (1-star): A budget-friendly option with basic but clean rooms for approximately 900 Baht per night.
Type of Girls
In Walking Street, you’ll find young Thai spinners below 30 years old. Most work in gogo bars and the rest freelance in the famous nightclubs in Walking Street.
Beach Road
Beach Road is known to be the longest whore street in the world. It’s a hotspot for freelancers in Pattaya.
After 7 PM until late in the morning, there are hundreds of ladies waiting for customers, especially on the side of Walking Street up until Soi 7.
Besides Thai ladies, there are also transgenders, African ladies, and Cambodian whoring on this street.
The interesting thing is there are many hot ladies, not only desperate milfs or oversize ones.
It seems that the Beach Road prostitutes don’t enjoy working in bars or clubs simply because there are too many rules to follow. And perhaps some might have STDs.

You can get a cheap deal at Beach Road since most freelancers are open to negotiation and there’s no bar fine either.
- Freelancers: 800-1,500 Baht for short time
- Short-Time Room: 300 Baht (if you prefer not to take the girl back to your hotel)

- Sandy Spring Hotel (2-star): A budget option priced around 800 Baht per night, this hotel is conveniently located near Beach Road.
Type of Girls
The girls whoring here are Thai, Cambodian, African, and a few ex-URSS nationalities. There are also transgender.
The age is from 20 up to 50 years old.
Soi 6
Soi 6 is one of Pattaya’s most well-known and chaotic red light areas. This street is packed with open-air bars, where the action starts as soon as the doors open at around 3 PM.
The girls here are always around, dressed in cute uniforms or lingerie, and they’ll be eager to chat or invite you upstairs for a short-time session.
What sets Soi 6 apart from other red light areas in Pattaya is the bars operate like brothels. Downstairs you can have a drink with the ladies, and upstairs there are short time rooms to have sex.

Soi 6 is known for being budget-friendly compared to other nightlife areas. Here’s what you can expect to spend:
- Drinks:80-150 Baht
- Bar Fines:500-800 Baht
- Short-Time:1,000–1,200 Baht (plus room cost of 200–300 Baht)
- Long-Time Arrangements:2,500 to 5,000 Baht

- The Ambiance Hotel (3-star): Priced at around 1,000 Baht per night.
- Sandy Spring Hotel (2-star): A budget option priced around 800 Baht per night, just minutes away from Soi 6 and is fully guest-friendly.
Type of Girls
The girls working in SOi 6 are the naughtiest in Pattaya. The veterans won’t mind having threesomes, sex with couples or please most kinks.
LK Metro
LK Metro is a smaller but just as exciting red-light district in Pattaya. Here, you’ll find lots of go-go bars and strip clubs. Just outside this area, there are also the best sex massage parlors in Pattaya.
Like Walking Street, you’ll need to buy lady drinks to talk to the girls, and if you want to take one with you, you’ll have to pay a bar fine.
In the past few years, the price at LK Metro has gone up but so has the quality of girls and better bars.

- The Right Resort (2-star): Priced around 1,200 Baht per night, this hotel is just a short walk from LK Metro.
- Siam View Hotel (3-star): About 1,000 Baht per night, located near LK Metro and is known for its friendly staff.
Type of Girls
There are two types of girls in LK Metro:
- GoGo bar ladies who are young and hot.
- Bar girls who are easy going, fun, and all shapes and ages.
Boyztown
Boyztown is Pattaya’s main hub for gay and ladyboy nightlife.
Located on Soi 1 of Pattaya’s Second Street, this area offers a mix of katoey (ladyboy) bars, gay bars, and clubs.
Over the years, the district has expanded, with nearby Sois also hosting similar venues.
Boyztown is known for its cabaret shows, gogo bars, and bars where you can bar fine young Thai boys and katoeys.
This area isn’t for everyone, but it’s definitely a paradise for gay people—and even women who want to fuck attractive Thai boys.
Nearby, there are good value for money barber shops that offer more than just a haircut. I recommend paying a visit.
