I’ve been coming to Pattaya for over a decade now, and let me tell you there’s no place quite like it when it comes to nightlife. It’s wild, naughty, and full of surprises.

From beer bars and go-go clubs to nightclubs and freelancers on every corner, this city offers everything you can imagine and more.

But let’s get one thing straight: most of the fun here is “pay for play.” Hookers are everywhere, drinks flow freely.

You can have a decent night out for 3,000 Baht, but there’s no limit to what you can spend.

I’ve seen single dudes spending 100K-200K Baht in a single night in a GoGo bar.

The nightlife starts early at 6 PM with customers in beer bars. But it’s mostly old men who eat dinner early and drink beers.

The GoGo bars in Walking Street start opening up after 8 PM and men start coming in at 9. For nightclubs, peak hours are between midnight to 2 AM. But many venues stay open till 6 AM for afterparties.

Pattaya’s nightlife offers so much that many travelers have a hard time deciding where to start.

In this guide, I’ll talk about Pattaya’s nightlife areas, what they’re best for, popular spots, average costs and tips to make sure you have an amazing time.

Top Nightlife Areas in Pattaya

Walking Street (Best For GoGo Bars and Nightclubs)

Walking Street is a long road that leads straight into what feels like an adult Disney World. It’s packed with gogo bars, nightclubs and live music venues. There are hot ladies everywhere.

But expect to pay more here though. Since it’s the main spot, drinks and bar fines are higher than in other nightlife areas.

The girls are also expecting the royal treatment, so don’t expect to get away with cheap deals.

Notable Nightlife Experiences

The Windmill – This is the most infamous GoGo Bar in WS if not in Pattaya. The girls are up for anything if you tip them.

It’s common to see customers licking girl’s p…. on the stage, getting a BJ on the corner or see ladies trying to center an empty glass with an ice cube propelled from their p….

I recommend going after 11 pm when the ladies are already drunk/high and willing to do crazy stuff.

Walking Street opens at 7 pm.

The best time for GoGo bars is between 9 to 10 pm for cheap drinks and when there are the most dancing girls.

Nightclubs between 11:30 to 2 am is the sweet spot.

• Check your bill, it’s easy to lose control of your spending when drunk and surrounded by hot girls.
• GoGo ladies love it when you buy drinks for their friends. It shows that you have a big heart (and a big wallet).
• If you walk at the beginning of WS between 7 to 8 pm, and you aren’t shy to approach ladies, you can catch GoGo girls going to work and convince them to go for a short time for only 1000 baht.

Soi 6 (Best To Party With Horny Ladies)

One of my favorite areas in Pattaya, and this is the reason why I’ve written the Soi 6 Guide.

I must say that Soi 6 is a sight to behold and a place to feel like an “awesome man”. The ladies try to pull you in the bar, are constantly grabbing your dick, and want to go upstairs for a boom boom session.

You can’t walk down this road without being overwhelmed by the sheer number of sexy girls. Most girls wear cute uniforms or just bras and panties.

It’s mostly open-air bars, with a few closed-door gogo bars mixed in.

The great part about Soi 6 is the girls are naughty. Because it’s mostly about short-time visits with on-site rooms, it’s convenient and cheap. And you don’t have to buy drinks or lady drinks. The ladies can go upstairs with you for some action right away.

King Kong – If BJ’s are your thing, this is the specialization of this bar. They have a sofa at the back just for this purpose. This means you don’t have to pay 350 baht for the room, just 800 baht.

Ruby Club – The majority of the girls working in this bar in Soi 6 are into anal sex. If this is your kink, go straight here.

The Secret Bar – It’s called that because there is no sign, but it’s approximately in the middle of Soi 6.

Soi 6 is great to visit in the late afternoon, but there is a great party atmosphere from 10pm to 1am until the bars close.

LK Metro (Budget Strip Clubs)

LK Metro is like a smaller version of Walking Street, but it’s just as exciting. It used to be the go-to spot for cheaper nightlife, but things have changed.

Now, LK Metro is packed with life, better bars, and more beautiful girls. Prices have gone up, but so has the quality, and many say it’s even better than Walking Street now.

You’ll find plenty of go-go bars, strip clubs and beer bars in this Soi. Just like Walking Street, you’ll need to buy lady drinks to talk to the girls and pay bar fines if you want to take one with you. Prices are pretty set, so don’t expect much room to bargain.

Things start around 7 PM, but the real fun kicks off after 10 PM when the party really gets going, and the girls get even more playful.

If you’re looking for great nightlife without heading to Walking Street, LK Metro is a fantastic choice. Just be ready to spend a bit. It’s no longer the cheap option it used to be.

Sugar Sugar – It’s not the best gogo bar in the city but it’s very spacious. Soi Boomerang is known for its gentlemen’s clubs. The key difference from GoGo bars is that they have on-site rooms for short time fun.

Boyztown has a completely different vibe and is mostly for gay men and ladyboys. If you’re a straight guy traveling solo, this isn’t the place for you. Couples often come here to hire a bull.

The process is similar to bar fining a girl. You walk around and find someone you like.

Buy him a drink, agree on a price, and pay the bar fee. Then take him back to your place or a short-time room for a few hours of fun.

The most common question people ask is: where should I stay in Pattaya to enjoy the nightlife? My advice is to book an accommodation in the center of Pattaya. From there you can walk around or use a TukTuk transport service which is cheap and safe.

You can easily bring girls back to your room without spending extra on shady motels.

There are many affordable options. Here are my top picks ranging from luxury to budget-friendly.

Hilton Hotel – My favorite being central and attached to the Central Mall. On the last floor, there’s Horizon Rooftop bar, a great place to impress your new girlfriend with the stunning view of Pattaya. It’s not the cheapest option, but trust me, it’s worth every penny.

W14 Pattaya – Located just steps from Walking Street, W14 offers cozy rooms with modern touches. Rates start at around 1,440 Baht per night and include breakfast. It’s a great spot if you want easy access to nightlife.

Classroom Hotel – This hotel is on Soi 1304 and is only a five-minute walk from Walking Street. Rooms are modern and comfy, starting at about 900 Baht per night. It’s guest-friendly and has a sports bar open late.
